Team Canada

The Northwind is Canada's national Australian football team. The team plays in international tournaments and exhibition matches against other countries. Northwind players are selected from the best Canadian-born players from the club teams across the country.

2009 Program

Looking ahead to the 2011 International Cup in Australia, Northwind will play two games in 2009:

• Canada vs. OAFL Australian All-stars
  Wednesday, July 1, 2009 — CANADA DAY
  1:00 pm at Humber College South Campus, Toronto
• Canada vs. USA
  Saturday, August 1, 2009
  Mason Sports Park in Mason, Ohio

As a self-funded team, we appreciate anything you can provide or donate to help the program!

Registration

New policies for all Northwind players:

• All players must register via completion of a registration form and be a player in good standing with the Northwind and their respective league and team.
• All players must include a payment of $100 for the 2009 season as part of the registration ($50 paid by June 17, 2009 and remainder paid by July 22, 2009).
• All past players shall fill out the Northwind questionnaire.

Players for the Northwind will be selected by Mark Block (Head Coach) from the registration list only. Please note that membership in the program in no way guarantees a spot on the playing field.
