OAFL Opens 20th Year With Preseason Tournament

On Saturday, May 3, the Ontario Australian Football League, OAFL, will celebrate its 20th year in Canada with a preseason tournament to be hosted at Humber College's North Campus, near the intersection of Highway 427 and Finch Avenue. The preseason tournament will encompass seven clubs from across Toronto plus teams from Hamilton and Guelph. The day will include 4 practice matches in the lead up to the exhibition match between Canada's National Australian Football Team, Northwind, and the OAFL All-Star team.

Anzac Day Party 2008

The Northwind, in conjunction with the Etobicoke Kangaroos, will be holding an Anzac Day Party on Friday, April 25th at Philthy McNasty's on King Street West.

There will be giveaways, door prizes, a major prize draw and more! And, the Collingwood vs. Essendon match will be played (tape-delayed). Let's have a great night to kick off the season and the biggest year in Canada yet!
