The leadership group of Northwind for the 2005 International Cup was voted on last night. Congratulations to the following:
- Captain: Stefan Leyhane
- Vice Captain: Chris Cunning
- Deputy Vice Captain: Jason Robinson
These three players, along with Aaron Falcioni, Richard Mintz and Adam Siddiqui, will make up the players' leadership group.
Congratulations to all players selected by their peers.
Yesterday, six Northwind players went to the Molson Indy pits and taught Alex Tagliani how to play footy. The segment was filmed for CBS television and will be shown before the race on Sunday. Tagliani, a Canadian driver, and his Team Australia teammate Marcus Marshall participated.

Denmark announced on their website on Thursday that they have pulled out of the 2005 International Cup (via World Footy News). It's not clear yet whether the groups will be reseeded or not.
Update: Spain has been moved to Group A and the schedule of matches has been updated.
