Canada will play six games, including one at Optus Oval and one in Wangarratta (a country venue about 230 km northeast of Melbourne). The Grand Final will be played at the MCG as a curtain raiser to the Collingwood vs. Carlton match. Go Northwind!

Northwind got some great press coverage earlier this week. On Tuesday, we were featured both on The Score's Sportsworld program and on CityTV's Breakfast Television show. Hopefully, the coverage will continue as we lead up to the Interational Cup in August!

April 11, 2005 by Greg Everett | View Comments (6)The 2005 Northwind team was announced last night at a dinner held in Toronto. Sydney Swans General Manager Tony Morwood was on hand to present Team Canada guernseys to the players selected.
Thanks to all players that tried out for the squad and congratulations to the 35 players and 10 alternates that were selected!
